Avaliamos neste documento o problema do desmatamento na região, sua interação com o clima, seu potencial de intensificar as queimadas e incêndios florestais e as consequências da interação das queimadas com a pandemia de COVID-19. In this document, we assessed the problem of deforestation in the region, its interaction with climate, its potential to intensify deforestation and forest fires and the consequences of the interaction of fires with the COVID-19 pandemic.
